Facing Life’s Challenges with Your Faith in Mind
As you navigate through life’s obstacles, you find yourself grappling with issues that challenge your spirit and faith.
Do you find yourself asking:
●”How can I cope with this loss while holding onto my faith?”
●”Why do I feel so distant from God during these hard times?”
●”How can I manage stress and anxiety in a way that aligns with my Christian beliefs?”
These questions become harder to answer the deeper your struggles become.
What’s at stake is important, this is your life and the way you experience.
The good news is, you can find guides who align with your faith and help you experience life better.

Christian Counseling: A Fusion of Faith and Therapy
At Counseling Near me, we offer Christian counseling that combines psychological principles with the wisdom and guidance of Christian teachings.
This approach is for those who seek:
● Guidance Rooted in Faith: We explore solutions and healing through the lens of your Christian values and beliefs.
● Support in Prayer and Scripture: Our sessions can include prayer and scripture, providing comfort and direction in line with your faith.
● A Safe Space for Spiritual Growth: We create an environment where you can openly discuss your faith as part of your healing journey.
There doesn’t need to be a separation between the mind and soul when it comes to healing, and that’s what Christian Counseling explores.
The way you experience life can be better.
After therapy, our clients talk about:
● Having a renewed sense of peace
● Feeling more aligned with their faith and life’s purpose.
● Improved personal relationships with those closest to them
● Increased self awareness and growth. They have the confidence to tackle life’s challenges, knowing they can make it through anything.
Our therapists are skilled in intertwining the teachings of Christianity with the principles of psychotherapy, ensuring that your faith is a cornerstone of the healing process.
This is your time to experience change in your life, and we’re here to help.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we take Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, MedCost, United Health Care, Cigna/Evernorth & CBHA (Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance).
The insurance I have isn’t listed, can I still use it?
If your insurance is not listed, then you may still be able to use your insurance for therapy with us, if your insurance plan has “Out-Of-Network” benefits. The way that would work is, you would pay for therapy at the time of the session, and then we will provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
We would recommend calling your insurance company to confirm if your insurance policy has OON benefits for mental health services.
What if I do not have insurance?
You can still choose to work with us at our private pay rate. Our rate without insurance is $125 per sessions.
Is a couples/family session the same cost as an individual session?
Yes – Couples, families, and individual sessions all cost the same amount per session. There is no additional costs due to the number of participants in the session.
What should I expect at my first session?
The first session is typically an orientation. You will have paperwork to complete and will meet your therapist who has been assigned to you during your first phone call. A therapy room looks similar to a living room in a home with couches and chairs. Your therapist will ask you a bit about yourselves and why you decided to seek therapy at this time. It’s normal to feel apprehensive during this first session – we have been trained not to tell others about things that are bothering us. But our therapists are trained to help you feel comfortable talking. Talking is the best way to connect and start to feel better about your life.
Do you offer online counseling?
Yes, we offer online counseling for all North Carolina!
