Abby Wojciechowski

MS, LMFTA

Abby (pronouns: she/her/hers) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate in the state of North Carolina. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Family and Community Services with a concentration in Child Development and her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from East Carolina University. She is highly trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Abby’s goal is to make therapy a collaborative and rejuvenating space where you have an unbiased listener in your corner. She will help you take charge of your life by processing past and present traumas, working towards goals to improve all aspects of your life, and teaching you how to maintain the progress you make in therapy.

Abby has experience working in a private practice setting and an outpatient setting at the hospital. She has worked with children, adolescents, adult individuals, couples, and families focusing on anxiety, depression, self esteem/confidence, trauma, relationship difficulties, chronic pain, and more. Through the use of your individual strengths, you and Abby will work together to create meaningful change in your life. She works from a Solution Focused, strength-based, and Family Systems theory perspective but tailors her modality and work to best fit you and your needs. Her most recent interests lie in trauma/PTSD and chronic pain work where she is able to assist clients using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

Outside of the office, Abby enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, going to the beach, reading a good book, and taking long walks with her dog.
